| Okay, so what happened this time? I tried to be online as much as possible, but the laptop does insist on going into power save. 
On the other hand, whilst I was at the computer I managed to create this:

| Just to make you more jealous (if that's possible) it the new Hauppage PVR2 game edition that's being released on Monday.
There are some upsides to working, I can spend what I earn minus rent etc on whatever I want. The downside is .... I have to work

ok i got something better than a HD PVR Now!
look at this: ELgato Game Capture HD it records 1080p
and uses HDMI cables!

| I did look at that one, and was thinking about getting it, then the new Hauppague popped up. It also records in 1080p (might be 1080i) and uses HDMI.
But the thing to remember is that the HDMI output on the PS3 is encrypted, due to the Blu-ray, and none of the game capture stuff can deal with that. So it'll still have to come out of the AV connector, but it can push 1080 out of that cable, and all the game capture kits come with an appropriate cable.

| actually, PAL, or Norwegian versions, has a different decryption, so you can run it trough with HDMI!
and well that's how it is when ordering!
